GOLF AT ECHO VALLEY COUNTRY CLUB

The award-winning golf course at Echo Valley is set in the beautiful rolling hills of central Iowa, mere minutes away from the heart of Des Moines. Named “2013 Course of the Year” by the Iowa Golf Association, members at Echo Valley enjoy 27 holes of challenging golf, each hole featuring five sets of tees to accommodate players of all levels.

In 2021, to improve on our vison to provide the very best player experience, a multi-year renovation plan was launched creating a host of opportunities to enjoy and develop your game. Playing 3 high-quality golf courses, practicing at the largest practice facility in the state, and improving your game with the best teachers in the state are all part of this vision. Providing a 12-month opportunity to keep your game tuned up with a vibrant indoor program is also a material component of our vision.

Echo Valley offers Men’s, Ladies, Couples’ Twilight Golf Outings, and Junior Golf for our youngest members. Private lessons are also available.

Echo Valley strives to provide incomparable access to the golf course. There are no permanent tee times. You may book up to 10 days in advance through our ForeTees App.

Dress Code

As a private club, we ask that everyone visiting the Clubhouse and utilizing our golf course and practice facilities dress in a way that befits the dignity of the Club and the great sport of golf.

This means no blue denim, gym shorts, t-shirts, or sweatpants on the golf course or practice facility. Blue denim is considered acceptable in the Clubhouse unless an event is designated as requiring formal attire.

Shirts and footwear are, of course, mandatory in all areas of the Club except the swimming pool & pool deck. It is recommended that everyone wear a shirt with a collar or an acceptable crew style shirt. Inappropriate printing is unacceptable; please use common sense regarding all apparel when visiting the Club.
